Are there any dangers?

The SkinSure products must always be used as per the safety precautions. The components of the products have been in wide use for many years and have a history of safe use in similar preparations. The possibility of side effects is one we take seriously and we never discount it. Contact with mucosal tissues is unlikely to cause an adverse experience. There are no reports of reaction following contact with the oral cavity. If the product is put into contact with the eyes, we suggest rinsing immediately with plenty of water and if irritation persists, contact a qualified medical practitioner. If you have been using steroid-based products please be aware that these can thin the skin which may cause increased sensitivity to the antibacterial properties of SkinSure.

Can I use SkinSure in addition to other cosmetics, soaps and shampoos?

We have had no reports of any adverse reactions with other cosmetics, soaps or shampoos. However, it is sensible to try a small area of skin first to ensure there is no reaction. We suggest applying SkinSure 3 to 4 minutes before applying other products, so that the barrier in SkinSure will not trap the previous product and has the best opportunity to protect you from any allergens or irritants.

Does SkinSure contain an antibacterial agent?

Yes. All SkinSure products contain varying amounts of Triclosan. Triclosan is a broad spectrum anti-bacterial agent, commonly found in products including toothpastes, mouthwashes and household detergents. It is also impregnated into some plastic kitchenware.
